It doesn't really matter. We've won the PR battle and the respect of millions. A positive result would be a huge bonus. I hope we make a good game of it at the very least.

At the end of the day it's just a game of football.
Much more serious things happening.
From that perspective we have already won as the gesture will probably be remembered long after the result has melted away, unless we win of course and then we will definitely remember!

I think you are reading a bit too much into the op too be honest jedi. It's true that regardless of result no lives will be lost but its an oft quoted phrase about art imitating life which it often does.

Their scummy fans have chanted abramavich name at every opportunity despite knowing what he supported. Not seen a anyone connected to chelsea come out and condem the russians, though they had a moan about tickets .
