One was very close to joining: between 20-30 years of age, two good feet but one foot stronger the other, decent in the position he plays in but could presumably play in any position that the manager asked him to play in. Tends to head it if above shoulder height. Won't give away his nationality as that would be inappropriate on a messageboard. Can't say too much more than that but it was pretty close!

He did all of this however without revealing all his knowledge he doubtless got from his access to the corridors of power at MFC so as not to jeopardise the club's business or give too much away to rival clubs reading this board; no mean feat.

Nice to be back! Yes, I first joined FMTTM about 14 years ago and posted transfer information now and then. I was sort of seen by the club as 'The Mole of Hurworth' and, at that time, wasn't able to be too specific with the information I shared. There's been a bit of a culture change since then, however, but the understanding is that I disclose information only once the club has confirmed my info to be correct via the club website.
