The international break has had a really negative impact on us. The last two games have been nothing like how we were playing before those two weeks off. Tonight was always going to be difficult but on the back of last week's defeat, it looks to have ended any faint hope we had of getting 2nd.
Let's get our form going again and go into the playoffs in better shape.

Should have had one penalty, not the one that was given.

I don't see Boro much but it takes a huge leap of faith to think promotion is possible after that display.
 
They had the measure of Chuba.
But for me this knocking it about at the back and Steffens casualness will be our undoing after the supreme effort this season. This game was a rubber anyway, but the way we collapsed at Huddersfield was really worrying.
 
Right it's a game, we lost, we were below our usual standard. Against the best team in the league that's going to get punished and it did.

However; Every side we face from hereon until the end is inferior to us now. And there's no magician in the opposing dugout, we've got both of those out of the way in these last two games.

So DROP McNair, right away, get Fry back in. And let's have 6 wins to take us into the playoffs please.👍
 
We gave Burnley to much respect tonight..a bit more belief and we could have took the points. Chuba at the end should have got us at least a draw.
 
Burnley will drop points against ShU likely proper finish our chance of 2nd, need to get our sparkle back pronto else we'll be limping into the POs. Did they seem jaded ? Sounded like it from the radio.
 
Same fcuking idiots on here tonight with their negative comments. They must hide in the woodwork hoping for a defeat so they can spread their bile. We will get in the playoffs, who would have possibly thought that when Carrick took over. Playoffs is a lottery but I fancy our chances.
 
McNair just looks slow and frequently out of position. When he does get the ball he either passes back to Steffen of hoofs it forward and we lose it.
Fry is a better footballer all round alongside Lenihan

I’ve been to every game Boro have played at Wembley and come away gutted on all bar one occasion (the non-result against Leicester was perplexing).

Regardless, I went to the Norwich game full of belief that we would win and if we play there again this season, I will go there believing we will win. We might lose, but what happened in the 90’s won’t be the reason we lose and I’m not going into that day crippled by fear of the past. Bring it on I say (though obviously there’s still a lot of work to do to get to that stage).
