Haha Jesus Christ we were phenomenal that second half. Whatever Leo said to them at half time worked. More of that and we’ll be alright. 👏🏻

It's all about opinions Erimus, but the current squad has the ability but their confidence is shot.

I'm surprised you think that this team from 1983 is better than the current team:

Paul Sugrue

I'm not sure how you see it as a positive that some of them would have been on the dole if they didn't play for us. There would be a reason for that.

Not saying it as a positive Rofesleg, just trying to compare the standard back then of players we signed compared to the present team & until that excellent 2nd half thats how I seen our team

This season we've been awful, boring, slow passing for the sake of it around the back line, teams knowing how to set up against us, etc, the 2nd half showed what we really are capable of, where did that performance come from, hopefully we can show it wasnt a one off, continuing on saturday

Weird thing is, as bad as we were I loved following them during that era. Especially the cup games.

Arsenal (twice)
Bournemouth
Darlington 😖

Some good and bad results but great memories.
Probably an age thing, and I hardly missed a match.

Yep, can agree with that, very rarely, if at all missed home games & travelled regularly too

As a slight side, did anyone know why forest fans find it so offensive to call them "Notts" Forest?

I'm guessing because their city rivals are Notts County?

I'd guess Notts is the county of Nottinghamshire, Nottingham is the city of Nottingham.

Notts County started as a club outside of the city and moved in.
