Does that mean the game has a token that has expired now its been played and they issue a new card token for the next one closer to the time it's being played?

Yeah, they'll do it closer to the match.
Just got to trust they don't forget.
To be fair, they do the exact same thing with the regular season cards.
Those are the only matches activated on my physical season card right now.

from what is had read it seemed the season card would just update and show the correct game but maybe I’ve read it wrong. Who knows anymore

I didn’t realise we would have to download the ticket for every game. I suppose it helps with transferring tickets to friends for the odd game but there should be a way to do it automatically.

It has probably been done to death, but what was the actual issue yesterday? Was it that people’s digital cards weren’t working, the scanners weren’t working or people didn’t have them on their phones?
Incidentally, the lad in front of me in the queue for a pint yesterday had the digital ticket, but they didn’t scan it or anything, just looked at it when he was getting his free pint. Appears that they don’t have that technology installed yet? I guess if you really wanted to you could get a few free pints

I think it was a number of things. Some digital tickets didn’t work. Some people were putting physical cards in the hole instead of up against the reader as this wasn’t clearly communicated. Stewards and ticket office staff were not prepared to deal with issues properly.It has probably been done to death, but what was the actual issue yesterday? Slowing things down by just a bit has a big impact on the resulting queues outside. Hopefully it’s sorted by the next game.

Has anybody’s digital card changed to Huddersfield? Mine is still expired in my wallet. Just out of interest today I went to re-download my season card and that showed the correct Huddersfield match?
Do we download that every game now?
