They've never had a yellow band across their kit.

Definitely a bit of Boca and crazy gang, am also seeing Leeds Rugby League too. I actually think our white kit is our lucky kit….see Sheffield Utd away etc….last year’s blue was unlucky, effectively cost Wilder his job

Why are they in front of a huge pre 1986 badge, which has no significance whatsoever to a blue/yellow away kit.

I did think that, though it's a banner with the old badge on it too so it might have just been something taken from the stadium to use.

I like this Boro kit TBH. Unusual colour combination but quite distinctive. It would’ve been good to have the home shirt as a pure reversal of that with the white band but you can’t have everything.

Looking at some of the utter nonsense released by other clubs this simmer, this is pretty smart and suitably low-key IMO.

EDIT: SORRY. Misread your message. I didn't see the large badge in the background. I thought you were on about the embroidered lion badge on the back of the shirt, at the nape of the neck.

It is also on the same area on the white 3rd shirt (which will be used again this season. Indeed, the sleeves of that shirt is patterns based on the same badge.
