Shark movies are a guilty pleasure of mine.

Anyway, what's going on with Jason's accent? In the opening scene he sounds like Turkish from Snatch, before going on to sound American, Australian and South African at various parts of the film. Is it explained somewhere or have I missed it?

I know in real life he probably has a mixed up accent.

If you mean critically acclaimed, I don't think he's ever been in anything good. Even Lock Stock and Snatch are an acquired taste. I was surprised you referred to the Transporter as 'cool'.

I quite enjoyed Meg 2, it was exactly as I expected it to be. Can't believe anybody goes expecting a deep thinking film but there was lots of action.

As for Meg 2, I thought it was good. Exactly what you would expect in a film about Jason Statham fighting massive sharks.

I loved the Meg. Just a proper B movie and plenty of cheesy lines / action.

I do chuckle when you here critics going to watch it and moaning it's not 'believable' etc.

I'm looking forward to Meg 2. I'm definitely going to watch it no matter what reviews it gets. I mean the large majority of films nominated for Oscars are cr*p. Give me Big trouble in little China any day
