I like the Marvel stuff ( I’ve seen most of the movies but only a few of the tv shows)

I watched the new spider man last night and I thought I’d watch dr strange 2 tonight and right st the start he meets Wanda now I started Wanda vision but never finished ( it went too weird) but now it looks like I’ll have go to go back and complete Wanda vision before I can watch dr strange 2.

Ahhhh does this stuff ever end what happened to the days of just watching a movie.

I loved the the MCU, but since Disney+ has started releasing around 4 new series of shows a year, i’ve become bored of it. The movie releases used to be events, now its just an overload, introducing way too many new characters one after another

It "went" too weird? Surely it started off pretty flippin weird! Not sure how many episodes you got through but I thought it was ultimately worth persisting with in the end.

The first few episodes were a bit of a slog. They did build up a bit of intrigue and suspense, but not worth sitting through 30 mins of a pretend sitcom from decades ago for. However, last few episodes I thought were pretty good though.

Failing that you can always just read the plot summary online for the gist of what happened.

I very much liked the new spider man and the new doctor strange movies. Return to form in my opinion after the "ok" Shang Chi and the Eternals.

Loki started off like a house on fire but petered out. Still found it quite intriguing mind
Loki sets up the newest 'bad guy' like Thanos. Kang the Conqueror.

You can definitely skip the TV series' if you choose to. I think they are aimed more at fans like me than the casuals if you like so when the main movies come out we will be able to relate to little Easter eggs in the film's without the films been spoilt for the casuals if that makes sense?

It's all getting a bit to much.

It's bad enough keeping up with the films. You now need to watch TV series. Disney are frankly over saturating a franchise.

This so called marvel phase 6 (think it's 6?). Frankly it's getting ridiculous. Just ease up a bit.

Total runtime of phase 4 is more than 1-3 combined. I used to love them but there are some I've not watched yet. The shows haven't all been winners and having to watch a full series of something you aren't hooked on Vs having to sit through a couple of hours for a film is harder to do just to keep up with the intertwining story.

You don't need to watch the series'. Frankly I gave up on Ms Marvel after episode 2 and only went back to watch the finale for example as the series as a while felt more like a cultural educational video than a series. Hawkeye was a similar experience, great to have Renner involved but the series was a waste of his talents.

Out of the series, I enjoyed Moon Knight the most, but also quite enjoyed Hawkeye. Didn’t care much for the others.
Have to say, I’ve been thoroughly underwhelmed by the new movies, apart from the Spider-Man ones and Shang ChI. I thought Eternals and Multiverse of Madness were absolutely woeful. Nowhere near the quality of writing or scale or depth.
Hoping Thor will kick things up again but not holding my breath. Anyway seen it yet?

as for the series, I’ve watched wandavision which I enjoyed, falcon and winter solider was meh, Loki was good and moon night was meh…
not watched ms marvel…

I rely on my son to keep me up to date with what to watch lol.. still got a see the latest Thor one…

I too enjoyed Moon Knight and Shang Chi has some of the best fight sequences since End Game.

Right I’ve watched the lot, and although I’m nearly at the point where I need a spreadsheet to keep up am still massively impressed with how it keeps going.

Only Eternals was a disappointing watch but now I’ve seen love and thunder turns out it was a long 2 hours to make sense.

Now the movies are incorporating the TV series they feel more important, & kudos to finally integrating the New York hero’s properly into MCU, really looking forward to She Hulk to see if Jessica Jones gets an intro.

She Hulk reintroduces a character but I don't know how to do spoiler tags here. Eternals is a strange one as it wasn't supposed to be released when it did, sure I read it was supposed to come out after the latest Thor. Strange that no other marvel series has mentioned the giant titan rocks in the middle of the ocean.
