The Mandalorian finale (Spoilers)

Just watched the final two episodes - who knew it was Javier de Pena from Narcos all alongunder the mask.

How did you guys know to watch beyond the credits to see the clip with Jabba?

I've always watched the end credits as I loved the art work of the episode.

Saw the one glove and knew who it was straight away but couldn`t stop smiling when he lowered the hood.

Interesting that the timeline shows that it`s only 6 years from the end of S2 Mandalorian that Luke starts to train Ben Solo, so something must happen to Grogu in that time.

I can only see future Series covering the history of the Mandalorian

fair enough. So far, all that's happened is there's a little thing that looks like Yoda that isn't Yoda. Nothing else has anything to do with the main Star Wars story. Maybe I'll give it another go.

Just wonderful - has reignited the franchise for me. Jon Favreau & David Filoni have done a fantastic job with this show and with any luck the spinoffs to follow will be on par. I hope they continue to keep Kathleen 'woke' Kennedy at arms length

They eve went yo tattoine complete with 2 suns and hung out with sand people and jawas

Well the first series had literally nothing to do with any of the characters from the main storyline.

It was never meant to though think rogue one, it’s set in the Star Wars universe after the fall of the empire.

Last season was good but this season has been brilliant one of the best things ever on tv I’d argue.

just a shame you can’t buy it as box set.

Yeah but Rogue 1 was only 2 hours. I just accepted that was a bit separate and then it all tied in at the end. I gave up on this cos I thought it could just be 120 episodes of something set in the Star Wars universe with nothing to do with Star Wars.

Seriously mate it’s been brilliant.

yes there were a few filler slower episodes in series 1 as it founds it feet but this series has been superb all the way through.
The budget had def been ramped up as well as most of series on one set in a single space or building using the ILM video wall.

But this times we’ve seen huge new world open up and entire part of the galaxy we’d never seen before.

Yeah.
Have you only watched the last scene?
It wasn't a secret that Bobba Fett was back, he's around for 3 or 4 episodes.

Played by the actor who played Jango Fett in the prequels, which was a nice touch.

Even before Disney took over, he had survived. I had a book as a kid called Tales of the Bounty Hunters which had a short story including his survival and escape from the pit.

I assume it panned out different in the Disney version, we'll probably find out in his spinoff.

I have really enjoyed this series, plenty of Star Wars links but also it’s own story.
Apart from the Star Wars, empire and return of the Jedi I think this is one of the more enjoyable spin offs.

I'm too slow to pick up on the hidden details, so after every episode i head over to New Rockstars on YouTube to get explanations for all that I've missed. Defo recommend it.
