Really enjoyed this series. Even popped up to “bebbanburg” a few years back for a visit. Believe they have a last kingdom display on at the moment until august time with props and costumes from the show too. Destiny is all!

The books never end seemingly. Uthred is still having dust ups when he’s about 90.

The King Arthur trilogy is probably my favourite of Cromwells books.

I'm definitely going to get myself there this year but I've for 2 young kids one 18 month old I'm just a little concerned they'll get bored easily. Is there much to do there for the youngens

It's a fantastic series.

I love Bernard Cornwell's writing style, but there are definitely too many books in each series and they're often of a similar style.

Enjoyed the TV series too.
