The lad that got a selfie with Rooney…

It was embarassing behaviour, plenty booed him where I was sat but there were also people applauding him which I don't understand.
Selfie with the opposition manager - embarassing.
Coming to a Boro match in a Man U shirt - embarassing.

Nothing to clap about, that's twice in recent months that we've had kids running on the pitch mid-match without being stopped by stewards.
It needs sorting.

The last one got a 2 year ban, this kid should too.

Probably first (and last) time he's set foot inside the ground.

I was thinking at the time that the whole event was staged? I mean the earth seem to literally standstill for his selfie moment with Roo. Not too mention the stewards seemed non-plussed by his actions — as did Rooney!

What's the position of the authorities if a kid runs onto the pitch and then subsequently hurts themselves? Is anybody liable?

I've looked in to it Randy and it seems like you're responsible in that situation. Doesn't matter who's kid it is. If anyone gets hurt then you, Randy from FMTTM have to pay the price. Doesn't really seem fair to me but I don't make the rules.

For anyone to run onto the pitch and make it to an opposing team manager is s as concern and I think we will be fined over it.

**** sake. Right. Keep the pesky buggers off of the hallowed turf of the Riverside please Bumface. Even if it takes your clan of bum face folk to stop them with sticks and stones.

That’s a bit of a leap from a bit of high jinks that he’s gonna done out in for years…

He shouldn’t have done it, they should have stopped it but no real harm done..

Hardly worth condemning him to a life of crime…

Of course you may just have been commenting tongue in cheek

Haha i was being deliberately OTT but it does genuinely boil my **** seeing kids walking round stockton/boro town centre wearing any of the 'super big wealthy 6' shirts.

Obviously everyone's different and that but i just can't get my head around a boro fan, buying his kid a Man U shirt, i loved an overseas top from the place my parents had took me on holiday but if my little girl asked me for a chelsea shirt she'd be on the naughty step until she witnessed Neil Taylors next goal..

I had to buy my youngest son a Kettering Town shirt, I think the boy wanting the shirt had something to do with the Champ Manager game.

About 8 months later our Charlie went on loan to them. :)

There were kids doing knee slides across the turf and giving the finger to the stewards at the end of the Boxing Day game as well as some adult idiot invading the pitch during the game. Seems to be on the up rise (see also that tool from Leicester who punched the Forest players as they celebrated a goal). I wonder if stewards are told to stop people getting on or not as they all just seem to stand there watching nowadays.
