I will never understand how is allowed near a game. Not only is he awful he is a Bournemouth fan allowed to referee Bournemouth games because he says he supports Luton.

If its a Boro V Luton final, I suppose Stroud will confirm to the EFL that he is indeed a Bournemouth supporter so can ref the final after all.

I was angered by the red, but by full time it was obvious that he's not bent, just incredibly incompetent and arrogant. He gave baffling and clearly incorrect decisions for both teams throughout the second half.

It's strange that he's had this reputation for his whole career and pretty much all football fans are united in their condemnation of his officiating, but he still goes on year after year.

You did get me thinking Beverleyred… so on Monday evening in order to cheer myself up and bring thoughts of Wembley I returned to the home theatre where I watch my Boro matches and loaded up and blasted out Live Aid 1985 (Disc 1). What a spectacular event that was
