Probably not to be honest though would be surprised if we didn't have a sniff about if he did become available. People will only remember him playing well 2/3 seasons ago and being linked with big money moves but like I said, he's had a bit of a fall from grace.

Morning Newy - I hope so.
If hes keen, hungry and skilled he is probably being kept out by well paid players who Premiership clubs can afford - but could rip Championship opposition to shreds.

Its getting tiresome reminding some that our days of splashing the cash on the likes of Chooba, Saville, Fletcher an Assombalonga have gone. With odd exceptions [see Payero] its bargain basement time.

Its exciting and challenging at the same time: places important focus on recruitment and development.
Jones / Tav / Coburn + many waiting in the queue.

mostly sub appearances. It's 5 in 21 starts.

His league cup and EFL Trophy appearances are 8 goals in 9 starts. The lad has potential even if he isn't a prem quality striker yet

My Newcastle supporting friend told me today they are going in for Dael Fry - a centre half they think they can definitely get. They are rumoured to be looking at a few foreign centre backs but see Fry as more realistic. I hope the club , Wilder and Fry himself tell them where to go. He reckons Newcastle has a scouting team in for the Notts Forest game - just to wind me up further he said Celtic had a scout there as well looking at Paddy McNair!
