The Hairy Bikers - ๐Ÿ‘ or ๐Ÿ‘Ž?

I like the chocolate on today's programme, set in Austria. Reminds me of Boro trip to play Graz.
We had some incredible hosts that treated us to lunch at the Graz training ground before the ground. And the food was wonderful.

Big ๐Ÿ‘ for me, seem like great blokes (especially Dave) and I love their programmes.
Thumbs up from me too.

I've experimented with plenty of their recipes in the past, putting my own touch on them. If you are interested in cooking, their recipes provide a great base to play about with.

We like them. Think they met each other on the set of televised Catherine Cookson dramas. Dave was hairdresser and Si location manager or something

Don't mind the recipes but it's a (n) from me.

Mainly my own prejudices, I'm no fan of middle aged bikers, or the faux bonhomie of Geordie-esq northern ***** banter.

I'm out.

They are passionate about the food. Mrs Steer cant stand them, and if I was watching TV cookery on my own, I would prefer Nigella. So they don't really get a look in here.

I enjoy them, I like their series around Eastern Europe when they combined a bit of travel and site seeing with some interesting recipes.

Nigella I can watch odd ones but the shopping in trendy shops and hired "friends" sitting round a table at the end really boils the urine. Recently enjoyed the Nadiya Hussein visit to the USA where she went to New Orleans and California, I suspect it should have been a longer series but shut down before it was finished? Anyway she is a lovely natural in front of the camera who genuinely interacts with people she meets. The fishing trip in the everglades (IIRC) was great TV.

I went into my local one night a couple of years ago and they were in there in the corner having something to eat. They just seemed like a pair of good mates. No one bothered them until they had finished but then they were happy to have selfies done.

They come across as ok for me. Probably nice normal blokes with one of the best jobs in the world. Saying that you would not get me in a motorbike for all the tea in China.
Much prefer listening to them than Mary(I've never had a takeaway) Berry and Paul Hollywood to name just two.

They probably are decent blokes and I like quite few of their recipes but as TV presenters they really get on my nerves. A bit like nails on a blackboard.

The humour is just awful and the "Aw man" after every mouthful of food is really annoying. It's like watching children showing off. They just seem to be trying too hard.
