The Green Party

I think this is very possibly the case. I would be surprised if there wasn't some co-operation in the local elections and some tactical voting too.
^^^ This. The only leaflets we got were Green and Tory and the only visit I'm aware of was Green. Shame really as I'd have liked a word or two with the Tories.

Greens are great on some things and terrible on others. Putting the environment first isn't always the best option. I've voted green in the past but weirdly they are very left on some issues but a bit right on others and I don't personally put the environment above all other concerns.
A truly Green agenda has to be a post-capitalist agenda. Can't see a systemic change this century, the class system, political system, consumerism and corporate powers will make sure it doesn't happen. More chance things will change on a local level (crazy though, bus services are being axed here in Bristol while the roads remained choked).

I do think there will come a time when nature is the only concern. At least if we keep killing it there will be no other concerns.

Deffo, I think there will be a lot of cooperation in the GE between parties and voters. Rightly so. When you have a government like this one banning protests and suppressing voters we all have to stand together.
I hope so but Labour have grand expectations and believe they’ll get a majority

Not sure this is true. They will have very focused polling being conducted and they are very likely to cooperate with the lib dems. Labour know they're are some seats that, if they campaign, they will split the anti tory vote and end up returning a tory mp.

Not everyone likes starmer. He has said that he will do whatever it takes to return a labour government and he is nobodies fool.

Maybe you should? You live on Earth

Labour have never committed to working with other parties, have declined to commit to it in the past and clearly state they are on course to win the next election with a majority

Maybe as they are breaking pledges this may mean they will make deals after all

Sometimes it's very difficult to talk or discuss politics with the folks that loathe starmer. Your views are so myopic on the party as to be worthless. There is no balance.

Nah, that's just daft. If we were 100% green and we didn't have any impact on the environment whatsoever it would still make no difference because we're an extremely small percent of the world. I will choose the green option wherever I can but it will never trump things that will immediately impact me, my family, society etc. I wouldn't agree to get rid of the NHS to use the land for wind turbines to have slightly greener energy or support Thanos style genocide of half the world population to reduce humanity's impact on the environment.

If the greens are ever a real threat to the establishment you can guarantee that this will be a newspaper headline one day 😂

That list come across as very reactionary if you don’t mind me saying. Especially the last bit. My point was everything you know, loved ones, the house you live in, everything you do, you do it on Earth. Why would you not want to look after that

Because you were questioning how I prioritise things and the environment, unless there is some sudden apocalyptic event, is not as important as something that is happening now. Like I said, I will make green choices where possible but it's not going to be the main factor in the majority of decisions.

I.e. I would take a party that does what I want plus has some green policies ahead of one that didn't do what I want but was the best at being green.

Sorry to be contrary but it IS happening now. Global warming is happening as we speak and damaging the planet.
