The European $uper League will still happen

UEFA still fully expect that the clubs will succeed in pushing it through.

They generally work on a 3 year cycle for sponsorship and marketing and they're not looking beyond 2024 at the moment, with many of the sponsors looking to concentrate more on marketing relating to individual clubs or groups of individual clubs.

Am not totally with you as the ESF was a breakaway from UEFA - who were bitterly opposed. Are you talking about a UEFA backed super league?

No; UEFA have a separate arm that is quasi-independent of UEFA and the clubs that is tasked to maximise revenue and promote the competitions that fall under UEFA's remit.

The people who specifically run the CL part of that business have been told that their jobs are unlikely to continue post-2024. UEFA don't think they can stop the ESL from happening, one way or another.

No maybe not but the fans might have a shot. One thing is for sure it won’t be easy For them to do it.

Let them go and see how it pans out. Make them cut all ties with their affiliated leagues and cup competitions.

Who really wants to see Man Utd play a broken Barcelona 4 times per season!!

I never watch European football, in fact, I watch very little football on the tele unless it is us.
