Covid definitely going, testing negative but ive got a rotten cold for the first time in two years

Turns out it’s Covid after all funny i tested negative yesterday but very clear positive today. That’s my trip to the lakes done for!

I've got the sniffles and a bit of a cough, like I've always had coming from a nice summer to a slightly chillier autumn. It happens.

Me and my Mrs and 3 of the little ones all have COVID symptoms and feel like we did last time we had COVID but all got negative tests apart from my 3 year old who isn't really showing any symptoms but has had a positive test

Its all abit random, when I had it last and got a positive the Mrs had the same symptons but kept getting a negative. Early days into the first lockdown ending id met up with a mate for a coffee, we both ended up with most symptons within a few days, when tested he got a positive i got a negative. I think the accuracy of the testing is pretty poor to be honest.

The news the other day was that infection levels are the lowest for ages but apocryphally I know several people with it and a few who have it for the first time. Weird.

Fully vaxxed but I just got it for the first time. Feel bloody awful, can't regulate body temperature at the moment.
