Still getting my next booster Oct 3.

Colds, flu and covid are all corona viruses.
Some employers are to blame for pressurising workers to go in when ill. e.g. Amazon and wee breaks etc.

Partner tested positive this morning, a teacher, second week back at school. Her first time and no surprise as it's now no longer compulsory for kids/teachers to wear masks in class in France.

Yep there is the usual back to school cold going around. No doubt it will be blamed on other things though and not just the natural order if things. Fresher's flu will be around too.

Daughter got it for the first time, a few days after returning from Greece with me. She's supposed to start uni next week and move into her halls this weekend. I'm sure I've got something, but have tested negative. Sniffles and claggy throat. Official advice seems very loose now, just to consider isolating if you have symptoms and a temperature.

Is it different every time? Worse or better? Some people saying the current strain is mainly snotty.
Same all 3 times. Day of fever followed by few days of flu symptoms then a couple of weeks of lethargy/breathlessness.

First time was december (before it existed)
Second was the Blackpool variant last season 😂
Third was a couple of months ago.

Having had the last 2 confirmed I’m confident that the first was the same

Similar experience here Fuzz

My fully vaxed daughter and partner have got it again, symptoms worse than before. As they've tested themselves noone else knows so don't see how stats can be relied on

No doubt you’ve read the feedback from the weekend by CRL and our WhatsApp group, Chris?

If you use a COVID test you are still supposed to notify them arent you? My tests date from lockdown days but they do say to notify the authorities regardless of pos/neg. Has it changed? I'm sure loads of people won't notify regardless. I forgot once or twice.
