Watched it at the time. Pilger is one of the few journalists that I have any respect for.

Pilger always postulates that, its not the role of journalists just to relay messages, but to go find out what the real story is.
Many who claim to be "journalists" in "main-stream-media" are merely conveying messages of vested interests.
They are "reporters" and lackeys, especially in times of war, [economic / social / political], who legitimise propaganda and falsehoods as "truth".
Hence, the first casualty of war is the truth.
