I can’t watch it any more because of the stupidity of some contestants, like the one the op quoted. I am sure they deliberately select a few thicko’s here and there to ensure ‘the team’ rarely win and to give Walsh some ammo for his patter.

I do laugh at some of the answers on quiz shows. Then I remember the extra pressure they are under compared to smug old me knowing the right answer in the comfort of my living room
