The Boat

Typical of dogs that, my last dog , cross between a Border Collie & Labrador, peed against a Rolls Royce wheel 🛞.

Did anyone notice that the woman who owned the pasty shop/bakery and her on screen Policeman son were both in a film called The Bad Education Movie, again as Mother and Son.

They asked for permission to use our office frontage on Queen Street in some scenes.
I think they wanted to make us a shop if I remember right.
I passed it on to our marketing team who I assume must have said no.
Nothing worse than watching something in a place you know.
In episode 1 at one point they were driving along the high street, next second there were driving in the opposite direct on the sea front passing by hat vertical pier thing
Then in the next shot they were turning into a country lane somewhere

Boat Story was a great homage to Tarantino/Coen Brothers films. Extremely dark comedy interdispersed with violent scenes that made my other half turn away. Episode 1 in particular was gruesome.

Daisy Haggard was excellent as was Tchecky Karyo. The writers, the Williams brothers don't do many Tv series but what they have done has been of a consistent quality. The Missing, The Tourist and now this.

Yes it felt like a Fargo inspired program. I liked it. It was nastily violent in the first episode, but very watchable overall.

Thoroughly enjoyed it! Was that Hartlepool Marina in the final episode?
‘Tourist’ was excellent too, will check out ‘Missing’.

Both myself and Mrs Keelo enjoyed it immensely and she hardly watches any tele...
