The board has lost a decent poster

Atypical Boro has had his account deleted I believe at his own request after stick he was getting Just because he was looking for light at the end of the tunnel out at the end of the pandemic.I don’t read many of the covid threads so don’t know exactly what was said all the time but always enjoyed Atypicals humour and football posts. Was a top poster in my mind. Shame it’s came to that for him. If you are reading atypical hope you are ok mate and come back on the board at some point

Agree with your post, he's a cracking poster & hopefully he returns soon enough

I could see where he was coming from but I also agree with other replies, I don't think he was getting stick, posters were putting there point across in a respectful way

Though I do agree with him saying he posted it as a bit of positivity but people were still dying which others remarked on

I & it's my own thought here, certain posters are posting a lot worse to annoy fellow posters than try & raise people spirits

That's a darn shame.

I don't recall if his views aligned or clashed with mine usually, on covid, politics or sport, but I do know he was a very good poster and I hope he returns at some point in the future, even if he just dips his toe in now and then.

Like I say I don’t know exactly what was said but just think it’s a shame that this is the end result for him as since I’ve posting the last few years he’s definitely one of the posters thoughts I enjoy reading and maybe he and his family are really down about the pandemic and he’s just trying to look for the bits of good news. Anyway, i have said my bit just thought this was worth a post.

As I said his idea was to raise people's spirits
I wasn't aware he's asked to be put on pause for a while, he'll be back soon & if you're reading this Atypical, hope to see you soon back on here 👌

Aw man, that's a shame.

Very valued poster, especially on the football front.

That's the trouble with so many threads being political, people end up falling out, especially right now with everyone agitated and cooped up.

I try my best to avoid them, but I can't help getting dragged in.

I've done similar over some politic posts, I can read them & leave them but as soon as the name calling comes in then I will have my say
I will not fall out with anyone & won't be rude but will say my part

Yep, very knowledgeable poster when it comes to football and always argued his case well in a respectful manner, enjoyed football chat and debate with him.

Look I just think, as did others, that there's no positive spin to be put on 1,725 daily deaths just because it was a few less than the same day the week before.

7 day and 14 day trends are the best metrics to look at to determine direction of travel.

Positive tests on the decline and hospitalistions plateauing is good news as is the impressive vaccine roll out.

I think Atypical just continued to dig a hole yesterday but I sincerely hope he returns to the board soon.

I disagreed with Atypical on several issues over the last year. but would also say we agreed on a lot of things and backed each others arguments up on a regular basis.

He's not a bad lad, but I don't know if I ever told him that I still haven't watched a game of footy on the tele since the restart (March was my last game, just in case you are reading). ;)(y)
