The biggest Footi Club in each English County is.....

I wonder why we never chant 'Yorkshire, Yorkshire' at matches like other teams from Yorkshire?

Mind you, no other county does that at football.

Only one other pro club in North Yorkshire? Harrogate Town? Same in East Yorkshire?
South and West Yorkshire well represented.

Lancashire (and the North West in general) an absolute hotbed.

It's based on clubs located in the current ceremonial counties, and goes quite far down the pyramid, and includes clubs that aren't professional.

The team for the Isle of Wight is Newport (Isle of Wight) Football Club and they're in the 10th tier of English football.

So North Yorkshire would have loads, just off the top of my head there's Middlesbrough, Redcar Town, Redcar Athletic, Guisborough Town, Whitby Town, Northallerton Town, Scarborough Athletic, Harrogate Town, York City.

There's probably a good number I've missed.

Yeah was just more surprised with the lack of other pro clubs in North Yorkshire, wonder why that is historically (could of course just be coincidence).

Same, obviously these things are entirely subjective but living in the South of the city it always surprises me how many Blades fans are from North Derbyshire and the peaks.

The City is Blue :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: 🦉
Wednesday have a bigger following than United. They draw a lot from Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster as well as the city itself.
