The Banshees of Insherin

Went to see it last month, I enjoyed it.
Interesting little film, dark and a bit funny.

My partner absolutely hated it though, she thought it was incredibly boring.

I watched it a couple of weeks ago at a local arts cinema.

Me and my mate really enjoyed it, it's funny in places, but has a bit of an overall 'depressing' tone.
Well worth a watch and has amazing scenery.

I'd give it an 8/10, or 2 (y)s up.

Loved this film - weird but funny, can fully understand why some people will just think wtf though

Not directly related, but influenced by, the film, there's an article in The Guardian about male friendship and the fact that many middle aged men have no friends of their own, rather they rely on their partner to drive their social life, which I found really surprising.

Know people like that. Consider myself lucky I have had same group of friend for 40 years give or take a couple who have died. They were immense when my wife died six years ago.

Not a huge Colin Farrell fan, but really enjoyed it. Dark, funny, compelling and plenty of talking points once the film has ended.

If it doesn't get one or too Golden Globes/Baftas/Oscars something has gone seriously wrong (IMHO)

Excellent film, classic! As well as being about the craic, friendship abuse and men,( the very definition of Ireland) it has a number of metaphors.Watch it with reference to the "Troubles" Still managed a few laugh out load moments as well.
