The Bamba in Redcar

Might have a walk along. See its £5 and £2 to get in. Assuming you can pay on night.

Didn't know that was its name though. Only live on Mersey so quite close.
 
Its next to rugby club. They have a nice little club house. Higgy is on soon doing a night. Bernie was on the other week

They are really doing great work improving the facilities there.
Hopefully the 1st team squad at Redcar also makes significant investment, I would like to see them continue to move up the pyramid like Marske have.
 
Went over to watch last night. Very competitive game, no quarters given. Hope somebody will post the goals, two absolutely stunning finishes from Pharrel Willis and Malik Dijksteel after fantastic team build ups to them. Sol Bamba was imperious at centre back, never in trouble, was super impressed with him in the pre-match warm up spurring and encouraging the youngsters on. Great little set-up at Redcar Athletic and team and staff deserve a lot of credit for the progress they are making. Green Lane has come a long way since Sunday morning games there many moons ago!

They have a few things going on there. Great to see

To save time and avoid unnecessary confusion, can we all refer to the Dijksteel's as little Dijk and big Dijk?

Which pub. It's not the Pig And Whistle so can't be best pub in Redcar.
Kicking myself about this. Posted earlier about going then started doing some jobs in house and garden then only remembered about it a 9 o'clock.
