is always.. three at the back.

Ayling—Edmunson—Clarke
all solid

Jones———————Engel
their best positions (WBs)

Morris—Hackney—Hamilton
prem quality midfield imo

Conway & Latte Lath are too similar for me.. one or the other up top.. then ideally McGree behind in a number 10 position.

I do like the look of Gilbert when he plays well.. if that makes sense.

Something needs to change, so 👍

Exactly what I’ve been saying for about 6 months, I don’t get why we haven’t tried it!

Agree with the formation, but would have Riley LWB and Fin as 10, or twin strikers, Edmundson is surely just a stop gap?

Maybe 4-4-2 is the answer...

We have too many players who "can play multiple positions across the front three"... but really can't.
It was obvious today that Sunderland had their positional play locked down, and that's why they're currently top of the league...

Ayling - Edmunson - Clarke - Engel
Jones - Morris - Hackney - Hamilton
Conway - ELL

Tbf we have looked better this season when Dickie Steel has played right back and Ayling centre back.

Gilbert has to be given a chance , he has the ability to produce passes that can change the game , Aziz ,Jones and latte need to be benched for a couple of games , mcgree, doake and Conway to replace . Also Edmundson ,don't like this stepping on ball thing he dose ,just waiting for him to slip and give it away

Next game - hopefully Captain cautious will finally bring a few back!

He's injured for 2 months

Just thinking Ayling is a better passer and assister than him and Dijksteel has played well at RCB in the past, and has a bit of pace that the other two CB's lack.

Ideally on the front foot I'd have Jones and Bangura at wingbacks, just think we need to be a bit tougher and meaner currently. Bit more physicality and experience.

Hamilton is many months ( possibly more ) away from being a starter. Howson needs to be back in. Hackney is a pale shadows of his pre-injury self right now. Would readily agree with the rest.
