Looking at the Electoral Commission website, it says that people can be registered in two places. Students are specifically mentioned, as are people who "spend time at different family addresses."Am I being a bit dense, but wasn’t she doing what every student who is registered to vote at university and at home has always done. I thought it was only an offence to vote twice not to be registered to vote more than once?
So actually, if she was registered at both addresses she should be fine. The problem would be if she was only registered at one address and if the complainant (James Daly) is right in alleging that it was the "wrong" one.
