Thats got to be it for Britt

Assombalonga has started 1 game for the DR Congo in his career, came off the bench in 6 others.
Kebano and Bolasie have rarely been on the pitch at the same time as him, so they've not played together much at all.

He's played 6 minutes with Bolasie
He's played 31 minutes with Kebano

I'm not really blaming Assombalonga for today, but I think people are making far too much of the Congo connection.

Barring Dijksteel, McNair and Kebano, every player in our squad was raised in England, it doesn't mean they have some innate connection.
We are looking for something to give us hope aka clutching at straws

We can't keep playing him and watch him miss chance after chance. We are doing well in games and need chances putting away as the opposition do so well.
He scored a good goal against forest though which got us started
He’ll start firing for us. His next football journey depends on it

We are pinning all of our hopes on Fletcher but I do expect he'll be a step up in quality when he returns. At the moment I think Watmore is our best choice for the CF role (although not in the Warnock mould for that position)

In Britt we have a striker who (today at least) linked up quite well and got into some promising positions whereas Akpom is the opposite, does nothing in the build up and will occasionally score when it's on a plate for him.

When the other option is Akpom, you can see why he keeps getting picked.
And yet when he signed and scored in a couple of games the good folk on here had him down as the missing link, a super star in he making, the guy who would score us to promotion when the reality is he's not very good, was a panic signing because we couldn't get anyone else and why he rarely gets picked to start.
