I remember in the 70's when Man City brought out their red and black AC Milan style kit and everyone was raving about it. The following year we got our Inter one which looked even better.

A truly terrible kit that one, it's like the kitman left the shirts lying on the pitch when the groundsman was marking it out with his white paint roller.

Steve Gibson is the one who does not like the white band/hoop.
Credit to Bausor for applying common sense. It is an iconic look.
There are so many ways to vary it season by season with collars and trim.
Just never change the basic premise.
Red shirt white band/hoop, Red shorts, red socks, all with white trim.

Isn't it weird how a footy strip can make you think of a certain player if it looks like a previous strip? The home kit immediately made me think of JFH, and for some weird reason the first thought that entered my mind with this one was Dean Windass!!
