Am I the only one who hates this song? It’s absolutely awful. I heard it last night and wondered why, it’s most closely associated with a manager who became very unpopular. I don’t get the obsession with trying to bring it back. It’s terrible.

Yes, it's terrible. When I'd heard it a few times I had to ask what the tune was. When I was told what it was supposed to be I couldn't believe it. It sounds nothing like it.

The songbook doesn't have to get ditched every time we change manager.

I didn’t know it was supposed to be anything? I thought it was just an aimless meandering chant dreamed up in a pub before a home game.

Not at all really, just an interesting bit of info. It's been warped enough that I didn't recognise what I've been singing.

I'm honestly bored of away fans now, every single fanbase (ours included) just chanting the same boring goading ****.

I was actually pleased when they started singing "mauled by the tigers", at least it was something different.
