We’re leaving with an Australian Tim Tams style deal, or was it the Macedonia or summat cheese deal - anyway we’re all going to be rich so nowt to worry about 🤪

Thats something that does bug me, the Australia style deal, I hope to god no one buys this as "a deal" it's WTO and if Johnson is so enamoured with brexit he should own it.
 
"Interestingly" the Commonwealth Bank of Australia have just announced that they're going to move from London to Amsterdam. Australia also started talks for a free trade deal with Europe 😗

That’s the worry isn’t it. I’ve banged on enough in this thread about how a lot of the Brexit problems are caused by ignorance. Johnson is obviously playing on that and hoping enough people don’t work out that “Australia deal” means “No Deal”

Even better though - Some angry brexiteer popped up on a recent phone in demanding to know why the UK had to ask the EU permission for a trade deal with Australia :)

"It's match day. Think this should be locked and everyone move on." no one is forcing you to read this thread, you can mute, ignore move on if that is how you feel, but it's not your place to dictate what other people should discuss. I guess that is a good example of people not earning respect.

Yup you might as well say we are leaving a Jupiter style deal, it's equally as meaningful.

The fact he is trotting this line out should be repeatedly called out, it is an attempt to subvert the truth and reality. Spreading nonsense soundbites like this should preclude anyone from being part of the government. This blatant lying should not be normalised. Ditto for his comments about oven ready deals meaning the withdrawl agreement not the trade agreement. It's a straight lie.
