Thank Crunchie it's Friday!

Cheers weegord, I've got a bit of work to be done in the loft today but I may join you in a pint of Guinness tonight (y)
It's still a bit early for me too... sat at my desk at home doing some work whilst trying to simultaneously home school my 7 and 8 year old children. I think tonight, I *might* just have earned that pint! 🍺

I think one of these bad boys may have to be sacrificed tonight given the nature of this week. (the pic was taken back in the summer when I bought them, but have resisted opening them until now) ;)

Cheers WeeGord. It's supposed to be tea for me as I enter week 4 of being dry, but a 3am stint watching Peppa Pig this morning with my little one, and a day of childcare ahead of me may mean I'm craving something slightly stronger by 5pm. Cheers.

That Peppa and George have a lot to answer for, the drunken fools...

Sir, I salute your restraint (though find myself also puzzled by it)

I have got a bottle of Kraken and some Fever Tree Ginger Ale and you've just reminded me to check that there is ice in the freezer...

...back in a mo...

You must live in the same area as my boss and she is the only person who I have ever say thank crunchie and she does it all the time

She must be a truly amazing boss of a warm and caring natue, always considerate and kind. They're the only type of people that come from my area ;)

Billy my dad’s in a care home and I said I’ll send you a bottle of Laphroaig, his eyes lit
up! I’m leaning towards 10yr Cask Strength on reviews. What would you recommend and where to buy?

You cant go far wrong at the minute with Amazon, who have it at £68 with free delivery

Master of Malt, The Whiskey Exchange, etc all seem to have it up for about £75 plus shipping in some cases.

Avoid the Laphroaig online shop, as all the goods are shipped from Germany and the postage is appalling. (dont ask why they cant ship direct from Scotland) They have it up for £68 but about £10 for delivery. But they arent shipping to the Uk at the moment due to Brexit. Unbelievable I know. I think they are in the process of moving some stock to the Uk to service the Uk Market. Makes no sense that a distillery in Scotland ships all its product to Germany then sells on from there.
I only use the factory website to buy some of the special editions they do every year, you pay through the nose, but you cant get them anywhere else without paying 3 to 5 times the price.

Well @WeeGord as predicted, for the first time in 3 weeks I’m craving a beer. I’m tired, and currently have a 1 year old who has happily napped through the day, but won’t go down as of yet tonight, and all I want is some cold craft stouts.

I wanna see Peppa Pig get me out of this one!!

I wish you luck and good fortune on your quest for some lovely craft stouts.

I’ll be starting my first shortly and shall raise a glass to you, in case you’re unable to do so for yourself 😁
