Just watch Tenet quite enjoyed it but I have not got a clue what actually happened, time travel films really melt your head!

I watched it twice, enjoyed it both times but came away thinking ‘right, I’ll watch it a third time to actually figure it out’.
No doubts after third viewing I’ll be thinking ‘right, I’ll watch it a 4th time….’

Haha yeah its a bit of a trip. I've only seen it once though, halfway through i was thinking I had a grip on what was happening. I was wrong.

Yeah was thinking I will have to give it another go. Wish I could get my head around all that quantum physics stuff, multi dimensions and all that but no chance, really enjoyed the Dev's series, but what's it all about

Took me 2 goes to see whatr some of the timeshift stuff was all about and that was really concentrating on it the second time, which isn't what a good movie experience should be about. It's also some of the worst audio and music mixing in a movie that I have ever heard. I'm still not 100% but I didn't want to do one of those movie explanation websites.

It’s a good film but

I have to agree with you about the audio mix. I saw it in the cinema and it was by far the loudest film I’ve seen. Even though the dialogue was normal volume, the explosions and gunshots were deafening.

Totally agree. Utterly pretentious and one of the most (pre release) hyped films I think I ever heard - no doubt because of lockdown and the lack of new films at the time.

Love clever films. Love most of Nolan's work. Hated Tenet.

The bloke has basically disappeared up his own backside with it. Pretentious, poorly delivered twaddle.
Completely disagree.

It's a cleverly constructed thriller using a bunch of time-travel tropes that have been around for decades.

It's not ground-breaking as a tale but the execution is brilliant.

Watched it about 4 times now, still pretty clueless but picking up things with each watch.

Also saw it at the cinema, and agree with the comments above, ridiculously loud to the point my head and ears were hurting, all of the dialogue was inaudible, the bass literally made your seat shake. With a film this complicated you’ve got no chance if you can’t make out what the actors are actually saying
Enjoyed it more at home with the subtitles on tbh

Nolan’s got form for this tho, still a genius
