Ten hag

Has he turned United round. After the first 2 games I didn’t think he’d seen Christmas but he seems to be making progress slowly

I thought the same, it’s been their story since Ferguson left. He’s doing really well and is making Rashford look great also.

Think he’s doing a really sound job. Impressed by him and think they will get better as time goes on.

Could be one to watch next season Utd if they invest well over the summer.
Champions League qualification is a very real possibility with Chelsea in disarray and Spurs been Spurs.

Back in November I asked a couple of friends, one a Liverpool fan, on a Man U fan, if Uniteds current title drought would last more of less than the 26 years before sir Alex's first.

They divided down party lines of course, but the united fans argument didn't seem to be much more than "because it's united, and it must happen".

They're 10 years in already, so I lean towards over 26 years. I don't think they have the financial muscle of City or, shudder, Newcastle these days. Liverpool have shown how a team can fall away, but I wouldn't be backing all other challengers to fall and United to be the ones to pick up the pieces any time in the next 16 seasons.

The other problem I see is that United will struggle at some point under ten Hag. No recent manager there has been given time or opportunity to come back from their first dodgy spell, so it will be interesting to see how he handles it.

This sounds a bit daft, but Ten Hag was under less pressure than previous managers. Apart from his predecessor every manager since Ferguson was expected to carry on Ferguson's dynasty.....which was never happening.

They were so "bad" when Ten Hag took over, lot of fans I know we're happy to halt the "decline" and finally admitted it was going to take time to slowly turn things around. Which he's doing.

The off pitch Glazer Out antics and have probably taken a bit of the spotlight away from him too.....and ending the Ronaldo circus where he was the clear winner also helped to cement his reputation as a thoroughly professional no sh*t kind of manager.

Doing a really good job given what he took over following Ragnick. Got Rashford playing his best football, which is some feat considering how off it he looked after the Euros.
