Hello everyone, I am trying to help by a fellow stroke group "Happy Talk Stroke group" based in Stockton. I visited the group and came away humbled at the way Ron Harbron and his volunteers interacted with their members who have suffered a stroke. They demonstrated a sympathetic understanding with simulated speech and memory sessions,chair based exercises, quizzes, songs and games. Fun and laughter were the
order of the day. To help raise monies I am going shortly hold a online sport items auction.
To date I have vouchers for several golf clubs, Signed boxing gloves off local boxing hero Joe Maphosa, membership to Everyone active gyms, Free entry to Billingham forum ice skating, Tennis lessons off Yarm tennis club head coach, a signed Geoff Boycott testimonial programme, signed Wilf Mannion and George Hardwick Testimonial Programme.
If anyone has any further items however small that could be auctioned please let me know. Many Thanks Ted.

Some very good prizes there already. The work of the stroke group sounds really invaluable. Very uplifting.
It is tremendous that you have been inspired to help.
