Teesside Freeport

Plenty of Journalists have views on future developments and how things can be improved. His organisation wants to publish opinion pieces. (see about us).

I don't support any particular politicians or business organisations, I just want the best for the area, which has been struggling relative to the rest of the country for the last 44 years. I am not interested in deflections or playing games.

Hopefully you have no interest in corruption masquerading as progress either.

Should have left the place in a shoite hole like a majority want on here and also sold the Airport to developers.
And you're ok with the airport losing millions every year, funded by local council tax payers?

And for two local 'businessmen' to be raking in millions after having Houchen's eyes out?

Iff you want the best for this area perhaps you too should be questioning what's going on. We had all the nonsense spouted on here about Preston and what he was going to do. He did feck all but those questioning were given the same nonsense from those 'wanting the area to do well'.

Don't talk shyte up. Question it until you know it's right.

Has Ray Casey of NE bylines got any positive ideas on how to develop the region?

His comments and opinions in NEbylines all seem extremely negative.
It's alnsot as if he's a journalist reproting in an extremely negative situation isn't it?

No they don't. The Tories have done a number on you haven't they? Making you think this deregulated, tax dodging, workers rights removing l, bent land deal site is the answer

Seems like you've just accepted it.
You either have to accept it or do something about it, rather than crying on here about it.
With respect, people are perfectly entitled to debate and question the legitimacy of a large local project that presents some apparent red flags.

Suggesting that we collectively 'accept' it is akin to living in a dictatorship, not a free thinking democracy.

Corruption on politics is a well trodden path and it invariably driven by money-makers.

Burying your head in the sand is the very worst thing to do and I'm glad that enough people are motivated enough to demand transparency of our local politicians.

Without it where would we be?
