Considering his reluctance to bring the kids on this season that was quite the vote of confidence even if it was 2-4.

Wow I had no idea he was the son of Lee. It was excellent to see him get on. I’d hope for one or two more of them to make an appearance in the remaining games. Great for him and the youth coaches but, as you say, terrible for Hoppe.

I reckon contract talks haven’t gone well or we have told him he is surplus to our requirements because no mention of an injury….
Or we’ve offered him a poor contract and he has decided to look at his options and not playing means he avoids possible injury…

Lee is also the agent of a lot of the academy graduates including Hackney. He also represent Jack Clarke.
