I get the feeling the rest of this season is going to involve a degree of trying different things, seeing what works and what doesn’t, seeing who can be relied on to do what and in which positions, sorting the wheat from the chaff in preparation for a summer cull and targeted recruitment to provide a better balanced squad with greater strength in depth.
