At the Riverside, probably one of the last reunion dinners this amazing group will have together

I've attended many former Boro players reunion dinners over tge years & enjoyed everyone but always look forward to the famous Charltons Champions dinners, which been have been a few

Excited about this one as it will be about the man that acheived the ultinate goal, the man who introduced the iconic white band shirt, promotion & what should have been the league & FAC double along with fantastic memories of my favourite manager & team

RIP big Jack, friday night is for you x

Really glad this could happen. Bittersweet really thinking that we've already lost players from that squad and its manager, all three legends at the club, but I daresay that the club will have found a way to honour their memories through this and really do what is possibly our finest ever team proper justice. Hope everyone who attends has a marvellous evening.

I have missed this and now have friends here that night who are travelling.
Hope it is a great evening and am jealous of those there.
I realise time is running out, but I hope I can be at the next one where Souness is at.

Big meal tonight, match tomorrow then the really big one on sunday, grandaughters christenning, postponed from the original date but re-arranged for sunday, kickoff 12:30 & I get to wear these beauties, courtecy of @Subbuteo_171 who kindly sent me through the post the tie pin to go with my erimus cuffs

Cant wait, hopefully its one of those happy hattricks

Glad you had a fab night. Sounds like a very nostalgic occasion. How many of the first teamers were there - the classic line up of Platt, Craggs, Spraggon ………etc?
