Yeah sounds about right, I hope Howson is fit....I think we will be keeping things tight in the away leg (look what happened to Sheff Wed)

A draw would be a great result 👍

I think it'll be an unchanged starting 11, with Dijksteel, Fry and Ramsey on the bench for Muniz, Finch and Fisher.

Steffen

Smith
McNair
Lenihan
Giles

Hackney
Howson

Forss
Akpom
McGree

Archer

Subs
Roberts
Barlaser
Mowatt
Djiksteel
Crooks
Jones
Bola

I will guess that Ramsey will be given a few more days to recover in time and be our secret weapon for the home tie

Hopefully as effective as Marco Branca!

Expect same team that started v Coventry on Monday.

Would not rush any player back unless 100% fit.....and even then, be tempted to play them second leg if needed.

Having a player rushed back then break down tomorrow......😬😬

Interesting to see if Carrick has been playing Fergie esque mind games re the severity of the injuries.

I think Carrick has an 'injured' player up his sleeve for tomorrow and I think it will be Howson.
He'll be an important player for us in an away first leg. We know this. We know Robbins knows this and I think it sets them up differently if Howson is in the team. So keeping his return quiet until the team sheets go in is a sensible approach from Carrick.

Then I think we see Ramsey return for the home leg. RE: the same reasons as above.

If there has been a bit of phoney war going on in the last few weeks - with some players held back.

The time for it to finish is 11am on Sunday when the Boro team sheet is presented.

I would not hold players back any longer - anything can happen in the first leg look at the game last night (Peterboro v Sheff Wed).

Forss back on the bench

Hopefully some injured players are back and it has been all a bit of a sneaky bluff. However if not I agree with others it'll probably be the same team as Monday. If Howson is back then again like others I'd push Hackney out wide and drop Jones.

However, given Coventry thrive at playing on the counter attack I'd be tempted to get Dijksteel in defence instead of Smith, for his pace to get back when we lose possession up the field. However, he is prone to switching off on occasion and we'd miss Smith's leadership so it's a tough call. Though I think Carrick would probably favour Smith anyway.
