Johnson should start for sure, not really sure why he hasn’t been really... not 100% after Covid, refusing a contract?. Like you suggest, I’d give Archer a go in goal, can’t be any worse!

Looks to defensive That if its wing backs has to be Johnson and dare I say it Spence. Fisher is a right back for me. St Bills teams could work.

Would rather play anyone than Akpom

Don’t need the 3 in the middle playing it isn’t working at all. The teams listed above are decent enough. Your team is more likely but quite depressing

I would say the front three hasn't been working and we always look like we're in trouble at the back without Fry.
as i've said a few times I'd go five at the back when we don't have fry in the team. I don't see too much wrong with the midfield three tbh.. Howson gets pulled back into defence
there's no way I'd have McNair in midfield.. I think that would be a massive step backwards.
who can create, who can finish? Watmore gets into some great positions, Kebano brings the ball into the box more than anyone else.

Johnson could be a straight swap for Bolasie, Watmore's movement looks better that Britt's, Neeskans is looking too good not to play. It's all dependant on the back line

Anyone who says Saville should start needs to bang their head against a wall. He is a fraud. That non challenge leading to Derby’s 2nd goal was an absolute disgrace.
 
I dont know who to pick to be honest - problems all over really

Up front Watmore was poor , Britt was poor - Akpom was totally anonymous
I'd give Fletcher a go but it doesn't sound like he's quite ready yet

Bettinelli was poor, but do we try Archer?

The defence have not been great for a while, but with Fry out our options are limited

One thing I agree with a lot of people on here is the 3 in midfield is not working
As Saville is the supposed advanced one and is creating nothing I'd be tempted to drop him

I think Johnson certainly deserves to come back in
 
Saville and Assombolonga must both be dropped:
a) Off the Transporter
b) Off at Dishforth with their bags
c) By a series of punches
d) For the rest of the season.

You decide.
 
Just had a quick look at the Huddersfield team against Wycombe, they have absolutely nothing on the bench. 6 of the bench players are 21 and under with a total of 12 league starts between them, total rookies. OK, who knows they may be future stars, but it looks a weak bench. The others are Jason Lutweiler, Richard Stearman whose on honest defender but 33, and finally the one half decent sub is Alex Pritchard who looked a future star when he was at Brentford.....but that was 6 years ago, he's 27 now and his career has really gone backwards.

This is a game to really run them ragged, make them work hard for the first 60 and then take advantage in the final 40 with some impact subs like Mendez-Laing and Fletcher.

We need to put Morsy man-to-man on Juninho Bacuna who is the one who drive forward from centre mid. stop him getting forward and Campbell will be isolated and about as much use as Britt.
