I'm expecting a couple more players to get a rest. I think if possible Lenihan, Howson and Giles would be rotated. Something like if possible

Can't quite work out who you have playing where here, is it Bola LB and Bilongo CB?

Fingers crossed Rotherham get a result tomorrow night that sees them all but mathematically safe so it's another dead rubber.

If injuries stay the same, and I was playing this game on Football Manager, I would go:

Yeah Bola left Back, Bilongo and McNair in the middle. To be honest I struggled to put a team together without Howson. I really think he will get a rest.

Then rotate like mad in the 2nd half.

I'd start Howson and Lenihan at CB again, as it's looking likely we'll need that partnership to be strong going into the play offs. The more game time they get from now until PO's, the better.

i expect some more changes, Akpom will start and Archer rested perhaps.

Its important to rotate but we also dont want to risk losing the last 3 games
 
As much as I'd like us to wrap Akpom in cotton wool, we need to keep im match fit. Rotherham won't try to kick him out of the game like Luton or Coventry.

Giles and Archer get a rest.

Give Muniz a start, we need him to be sharper.

Agree, we need to go into the play offs off the back of some good results.
 
I usually don't like when teams play kids for the final games when they have nothing to play for - but we're 1 or 2 injuries away from having an issue going into the playoffs in my opinion.

Akpom and Hackney for Bola and Crooks.

May as well test the team for the Play-offs with injuries blighting us.

Rotherham won't target our players, any injuries would likely just be bad luck.

Hopefully Rotherham are safe before we play, then it'll be fine.
 
I can see Archer getting a rest but Akpom would probably explode if he doesn't get on the pitch. Assuming that our walking wounded remain wounded, I think

Bearing in mind that our left-sided attacking midfielder is not a winger, there's an argument that Crooks could play that role well.
I also think there's a good case for giving Sykes a run out just to see how he handles it in case we need him. Maybe also a case for Bola playing for Giles just to reduce his rustiness.

Then for Coventry, our last home game, I suspect that Archer and Hackney will come back in along with anyone else who has recovered.
 
I think we'll be back at full strength for this one so Akpom and Hackney in for Bola and Crooks. I only think we rotated because it was Luton.
 
Ideally we would rest Lenihan, Howson and Giles. But that's not possible.

I suspect maybe Giles will get a rest with Bola at LB and Hackney LW. Akpom should be back because you don't want to leave him with 2 weeks off prior to the play offs, it's too long.
