Tea - 'It’s an old person's drink.'

I love tea, breakfast type tea not so much designer teas, and moved away from coffee years ago and don't drink it at all. There are instances however, when visiting someone, who automatically serve you coffee without asking, and I wouldn't embarrass the host by refusing to drink it.
I drink Tetley or Yorkshire, depending upon which is on offer when shopping. I tried PG Tips, mainly because the teabags and all packaging is now non-plastic and biodegradable, but they kept splitting in the cup and there's nothing worse that getting a totally unexpected mouthful of tea leaves, so they are no longer contenders.

EDIT: I am an old person though:)

Tea is a wonderful drink for me - and have gone full circle being back on loose tea
it’s all decaf (without chemicals) and I have no milk
Currently we have
Rooibos - our ‘go to’ (It’s naturally decaf)
Rooibos Chai - lovely and spicey
Orange Pekoe
Assam
Earl Grey
And a fantastic herbal ‘ Morinaa Magic Tree’ - got to be brewed for over 8 mins

Used to be Yorkshire gold but now First drink of the morning for me is honey with a slice of lemon, then vanilla chai with a splash of maple syrup for the rest of the day, both drinks help me from dipping biscuits and lost over a stone in weight 😃

Have one cup of coffee everyday.
Probably drink one cup of tea over the course of an entire year - doesn't do anything for me.

Before leaving home there would be constant cups of tea in the house.

I am now very much a coffee person. The options for drinks have grown so much over the years and the level of taste and variety I can get in coffee is much higher.

My partner drinks a lot of black iced tea we make at home (using yorkshire) and I will enjoy a leaf tea every now and then.

As with everything - there is more choice now whereas society 20 years ago was a lot more homogenous.

There's nothing more disappointing than ordering a cup of tea somewhere in the world, and you see that little yellow tag on a piece of string dangling from the cup they bring you.

I have 3 or 4 cups of Ringtons each day, though no longer have one at bedtime as it means a trip to the toilet half way through the night becomes a probability rather than a possibility.
I had to knock this on the head in my 20's as a trip to the toilet was inevitable.

Since moving to North America, my tea consumption has reduced and i'm drinking more coffee.

I found out at 25 that I have a caffeine intolerance. This thread is devastating.

I F***ing loved a cuppa.
