Tax those working from home an extra 5%?

Who pays the costs of printing and photocopying and the electricity?
Its like holding a franchise for a company - being a sub-contractor.
Home-workers should be given tax-relief for saving companies money.
Companies dont need huge power-hungry buildings if "outsourcing" [homeworking] is the new norm.

No we are not. People have worked from home instead of office and had small businesses working from home as long as there are no environmental issues, or changes to the property, then anyone can use their home for business.
My home insurance company increased my premiums when I worked from home.
 
never heard so much crap in my life, does anybody think people work away from home for the sake of it, or because the nature of their job dictates it, and what, hammer them with more tax?

The opposite should be true, people working away should have tax breaks

Worth noting that the tax relief on £6 a week is basically about £1.20 so yeah it’s free money but not a lot
 
My home insurance company increased my premiums when I worked from home.
I would have expected it to be less, as the house is more likely to be occupied for longer, but, there again, insurance companies.....
I've actually been getting 15% a month back on my car insurance since the pandemic started.
 
Another way to deflect from the fact that the welfare state is not fit for purpose. Lets hammer those who have been lucky enough to keep jobs, rather than just fix the broken F***ing welfare state that provides liveable income for those in the first place.
