As a cheese phobic it’s not my sort of food either, I always avoid them in the states.

I was just surprised to see one in the boro

But churros might be worth a go

McDonald’s, KFC, BK, Subway, Nando’s and now Taco Bell all get a pretty terrible review on here, would be less ironic if the celebrated local dish wasn’t even worse for you! 😁

At least you could eat in nandos and get some nutritional value, I'd put it above all the others despite not being great.
Good point regarding parmos I don't think I could eat one myself, at least not sober anyway

Other than KFC, you've mentioned some very poor food there. It's a wonder you didn't throw a Gregg's in.

And by the way, South Bank is not in Middlesbrough, Middlesbrough is a small neighbouring town. ;)

There's always a rush to crap on any fast food chain on here but you ask for the best Chinese and everyone's got an opinion on high quality, nutritional and authentic curry and chips 😂
Are you including yourself there, you once told me you couldn't class Nando's as a restaurant or words along them lines. ;)

All joking aside, what would be your choice of takeaway?

I like a KFC but one a year is more than enough. My favourite takeaway would be an Indian from the Massala on Borough Rd.

Balti Hut on Roman Road. If you’re going anywhere else it’s a mistake.

I don't mind any takeaway/fast food as it's not meant to be a Michelin star restaurant

Still not tried it, though I've never really heard good things even from America.

I'll be giving it a go at some point, but I expect to be disappointed like with the other recent North American imports to Teesside like Five Guys (okay but not worth the price, probably doesn't help that I don't like peanuts) and Tim Hortons (just ****).

Though there are lower expectations this time, so maybe not.
