May be slightly controversial, but Howson is a pretty big part of the midfield problem. Looks like his legs are starting to go and for spells the game passes him by.
Passing was dreadful tonight, and he's not driving on like he has been doing.
But, replace him with who? Options are shyte.

Having said all that, he is the only one who looks composed when it all gets frantic, a cool and collected head, that comes out of a scramble with the ball, retains it and lays it off.
