Supporters Forum Meeting Next Monday

Probably too late for this one, but it would be great to ask the question about the general condition of the stadium. I sit in the NW corner and looking up it’s quite clear to see where the paint is coming away. The concourse it that area also appears to have a bird problem which isn’t being cleaned. And the ‘home of the boro’ sign on the outsidenis basically peeled off.

On the plus side, I think the concourse works pretty well in that area, great views back over the town. The staff are all doing different roles behind the bar so it works retry quickly. Also think the fan zone outside has been a great addition in terms of drinking options before the game.

If it's not the case Rob, and three examples off the top of my head ....

- why did they bin the Boro Pride Card

- why did they let season card holders buy extra tickets for the Spurs and Chelsea matches (and I'm sorry, "because season card holders asked for it" isn't a valid reason) before general sale

- why is Gold Card and Chairman's Drink a closed shop
Hopefully there will be a new members scheme - and as for Gold Card I really hope that this is not a closed shop in future, regardless of chairman's drink.
I think these changes would allow them to reach more fans and make them feel part of the Boro. I would also say make sure you are signed in digitally and tick allow for receiving emails etc and then you will get news/info as it happens.
My opinion - not the meeting agenda - displayed above - meeting is Monday evening (zoom).

Something that I think needs raised by Boro to other clubs.

At some grounds - notably Blackburn, stewards try to insist on searching children. There does not seem to be any hard and fast rules on whether this is legal or if we as parents can refuse. Or if there is a particular process.

It's happened a few times and the approach at different clubs varies - some times friendly and involved the parents. Other times insistent and the threat of being denied admittance.

It would be good to know what our rights are and what the rules are.

Next time I'm tempted to ask for the Senior Steward, to see DBS check details etc.

Re crowded concourses. Some clubs open the doors at half time and let fans out for a fag. Some have food and drink kiosks outside. Would be good if they were able to do this. Also more COVID unfriendly. Haven't been to the Riverside with my dad since pre COVID as he's still bothered about it.

Not sure if it's legal in the UK Red. You can see in the photo below people taking their drinks onto Mechelen's terraces. It's actively encouraged in Belgium.View attachment 51204
You can but not to league / cup football

Same stadium but a rugby game or an American football game and you can. Quite surreal being at Wembley for NFL and drinking in seat
