Thinking about a week with the family, never been to Bulgaria so wondering what the thoughts are of anybody who’s been? Decent/safe for the kids, stuff to do, any advice or even warnings about the place, I’m all ears folks, TIA

I loved it when I went....but we're talking over 20 years ago. Best kebab I ever had, bloke used to have a little stall outside the shops every day and made fresh spag bol or lamb kebabs in a quarter of a stottie bun with lettuce.

We went in 2019 and had a good time, stayed in the RIU hotel all inclusive and had loads of kids and families there.

It is a party place though but if you go to a decent hotel I'm sure will be fine.

How so Transit?
Went all inclusive a few years ago, the worst holiday I've had. Can't recall any kids or kids activities , just drunken youngsters and Russian gangster wannabes. Food was rubbish and service terrible. It might have changed since then, it's only my opinion at the end of the day'.

Ww stayed in Golden Sands last year and a few people said it was far nicer than Sunny Beach. There wasn't loads for kids though
