I was a bit amazed when Sky announced there was over 39,000 at the Stadium of Light on Saturday. I watched a bit of the game and most of the stands looked about 50% full which would be about 24,500. I guess a lot of their ST holders didn't bother turning up but were included in the crowd. 39k is saying the stadium was around 80% full.
