Only Sunderland could win a trophy in front of no fans, with the winner coming from a player called Gooch. All hail the Gooch!
Unfortunately all clubs have their element of idiots and we have all witnessed Boro fans, from good backgrounds, doing things that brings shame on the club.Disgusting that they are allowed to do this every time they visit the Riverside. What is particularly obscene is the adult fathers singing it along with their children. If they were racist or homophobic chants they would have been stamped out, so why is paedophile chants acceptable?
I was gutted after this. Sulked for days, thought surely this is our year to wi something. Only 18 more years to waitI remember the disappointment when we lost to Mansfield in this cup in 1987, called the Freight Rover back then. One of our best crowds of the season turned out for it.

They all just took a slice each and sat in the centre circle eating it.Didi they celebrate winning it or just sheepishly collect the pizza trophy?
Would be embarrassing for their fans if they celebrated.

I'm glad Grant looks pleased anyway but i can't believe they seem genuinely delighted.I guess it shows how far they have fallen.
What I find fascinating about such behaviour is that it is a common sight amongst most clubs with similar rivalry and yet fans from those clubsI wouldn't go to the Riverside v Sunderland for that very reason, dispicable when you see blokes singing such vile comments standing next to woman & children
I'm sure it will be funny but I can't open it.Anyway, unlike some of the bitter comments on this thread I'd like to congratulate them on winning my cup!
Me neitherI'm sure it will be funny but I can't open it.
